What I'm Doing NOW
I have been "retired" for ten years, which means that I'm now so busy I no longer have
time to work!

I have been legally blind for longer than that, but it is only now starting to slow me down.
My hobbies are now those of the less strenuous variey and my consulting is confined to
the odd job that I do on a "pro bono" basis. This spring, I completed a consulting project,
with two Australian colleagues, in northeastern Victoria. In the summers, Sue and I do a
lot of re-enactments (everything from French & Indian Wars through the War of 1812-14)
and we do live interpretation for small museums and historic sites. We also do modern
camping and enjoy both nature and heritage tourism.

One of my major new interests is family history and a subsequent page of this website will
take you to the results of my research. To be truthful, I developed this web site so my
extended family and others could have ready access to the family tree.

One of the great joys of being retired is that I can devote more and more time to
volunteer work -particularly the Fort La Présentation Association of Ogdensburg, NY,
where we are planning to reconstruct the old French fort. I never seem to get shot of any
old associations - I just seem to add more and more NEW ones!!!
