The birthday party, deep in the woods. It had rained that morning and Lynn had erected a plastic fly, just in case. But, a few hours before the party started, the rain stopped. Note Lynn's wagon, hitched to his tractor, in which we all rode back to the house - a bone-rattling experience if there ever was one! *

Unfortunately, half the people had left before I remembered my camera and started shooting. It was a very pleasant setting, in this small clearing in the woods, with the trilliums just starting to bloom and the dog-tooth violets sticking their little heads up through the dead leaves. *
