When our Lovage plant grew in maturity to almost 2 metres in every dimension, we decided it had to go, much as we loved its flavour. Now this Comfrey plant threatens to do the same thing! *

We have experimented with a number of Mint varieties. Apple Mint is one of our favourites. *

Curled Parsley. We have tried the Italian variety but keep coming back to this one. *

We grow a variety of Basils, including this Genovese variety. *

The Dill re-seeds itself each year. Here it is in early June. *

Summer Savory. We have not had great success with the winter variety. *

Lemon Balm. Dried and blended with dried mint, it makes an excellent herbal tea. *

This is an extremely unusual Sorrel, in that it never "bolts to seed", regardless of the emperatures, hence can be used all summer long. *
